This is straight from my iPod with added reverb and no harmony. It is similar to the previous song; I also wrote this last night.

Here is a new song I wrote last night. The melody was recorded on my iPod, which has a decent microphone for a gadget, and the harmony was recorded on my computer, which has a lousy internal microphone, although I hope to remedy this soon (thank you, Santa…).

Wrote this last night before I fell asleep. Fortunately had my iPod right next to me so I recorded it and redid it on my computer this morning with harmony.

The words are simple:

“Iron roses, fire deep, take me back there, where I once belonged.”

That just repeats throughout the whole thing, and I do variations on the first melody.

I have no idea what the words mean, they just were what I was singing with the melody. Make your own meaning from them if you wish.

And, as I was sitting at my computer, I found myself singing another song. So here it is. I started singing it then pressed record and started again, so this was composed basically live. Kind of improvised.

This song I wrote this morning and recorded, with harmony, on my computer. Nothing too deep about this one, just a fun little song.

The words just came with it, particularly the chorus. It came to me first thing in the morning after I woke up.
